Here is "the short list".

Fishing and boating on the open ocean is just one alternative. The intercoastal waterway, nearby rivers and lakes provide the opportunity for every water sport. Kayaking in the inlet is a favorite exercise for many. Take your family horseback riding along the beach and play golf in the Florida sunshine nearby at the St. Joe Bay Club. The St. Vincent Wildlife Refuge provides an unspoiled wilderness area for hiking the beach as well as managed dear hunting during the season. If you are a hunter, you are likely to bring home a trophy here.

Indian pass is near several "Old Florida" towns with charm and grace. You will enjoy the shopping Apalachicola has to offer. This quaint little waterfront community is rich in history, and many of it's older buildings have been restored, serving now as gift shops, bed & breakfasts and restaurants.
